Véronique Dugas
President & CEO
CQDM
Véronique Dugas has been President and CEO of CQDM since April 1, 2025. She joined the organization in 2018 and has since held several strategic roles, contributing significantly to its key achievements. Prior to CQDM, she worked at Mitacs, supporting research funding and collaboration between public and private sectors.
Véronique holds a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from Université de Montréal, where she focused on immune tolerance and genetic predispositions to autoimmune diseases like type 1 diabetes. She also earned an MBA and a graduate diploma in program evaluation from UQAM, and recently joined the first cohort of McGill and Women in Bio’s Excellence in Canadian Board Governance program.
At CQDM, she has led pivotal initiatives, including the Health Collaboration Acceleration Fund, a business transformation strategy, and advancing RNA-based therapies in Quebec. A passionate foodie, Véronique enjoys gastronomy, values camaraderie, and brings her love of the French language to her leadership.
